About the project
With the likes of aggregators like Deliveroo and UberEats seeing rapid growth, it's becoming clear to Nando's that there is a clear opportunity to do more digitally to own the customer relationship.
As part of my assignment at Nando's I was able to work across all aspects of digital product development.
This included the native mobile app, core website, home delivery platform, marketing automation and customer service systems.
As the Product Manager at Nando's, my time was spent building and executing a roadmap that supported an omni channel experience for the customer, across e-commerce and customer engagement.
Increasing checkout conversion
I worked closely with internal and external teams to enhance the user experience as much as possible (without starting from scratch) in order to increase conversions for the Nando's Takeaway website.
Implementing Free Wi-Fi experience
I was responsible for sourcing a partner, designing the user experience and launching the overall in-restaurant customer Wi-Fi.
Introducing agile ways of working
I spent time across all areas of development advocating and advising on agile ways of working. From setting up daily standups for the team supporting the customer engagement workstream, through to creating and maintaining a backlog
A core part of my role was to create and own the product roadmap, based on the key initiatives already decided by the board.
